LITERARY STUDIES

This course may teach the skills that are written here: elements of style, usage and conventions literary elements and devices, citations and acknowledgements, literal and inferential meaning. Going into the main few ideas are how the texts from the original first nations are a symbol of their identity from behind and the real meaning behind the texts. When finished they may judge the work based on texts meaning, importance to the assignment, presenting, connection, oral or written grammar, and literary devices added. To summarize the course will help guide you on what you need to research read, write, and talk about.

This course will be for 2 credits when completed will go on your record if not finished within 1 year you will be automatically forced to leave. Continuing if you are interested in the academics or the knowledge to help and research with the skills you will need skills like Digital communication related to First Peoples themes—ideas include blogging, writing for the web, writing for social media, gaming, and podcasting.

The tools will help to research anything make presentations and research or help indigenous track through the new technologies we have today.

Spoken Language

The course will give you 2 credits when completed. If you would like to learn skills like oral presentation and self assessment presentation you may join the Spoken Language course. In the course it will talk about the right of the indigenous and the imitation of an indigenous in the time of the schools when taking them from their homes and territories. The purpose of all the culture from singing to dancing kept in history. There in the assignment may include spoken word/slam poetry, poetry recitation, oral storytelling, readers’ theatre, posts related to First Peoples themes which you will be marked on including your self assessment your plays poems or presentations should show the power of our words and inspire.

Writing

The course will give you 2 credits when completed. If you would like to develop their writing skills and work individually with the skills you need to creating written work that relates to and/or contributes to local First Peoples communities (e.g., community performances, proposals, technical communications) if needed you may study things like  Engaging in First Nations language revitalization projects (Languages) Publishing process and industry (Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies) Writing lyrics for songs (Music) Advertising writing accompanied by art/graphics (Visual Art; Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies)
