In most high school the course, Math usually has you bring certain tools or materials used to help calculate and solve math equations and puzzles.

Per usual every year there will be a mathematics text book each year you may need to purchase a new book because they may use a new refined version with new discoveries and ways to solve equations or learn them.
Text books
Grade 9 maths text book summarizes up what has led up beginning in grade 8 and continues on advancing toward newer methods and equations. The teacher will ask you to pay a fee when you order a book.

Going on to math 9 is an easy task by simply doing what you are told to and handing in homework on time as well you can get and exceeding mark by paying completing the sheets handed out.
Calculators are very useful when solving long equations or long expressions. In the higher grades. you may need a higher quality calculator (Scientific calculator)to calculate complex expressions rulers handy for geometry and patterns as well as graphs.
Your teacher is also a material !!
